Wirless Sync of Sent Items, etc (Exchange Server)
I can only see my Inbox items being sync'd on my device. This is done wirelessly over Sprint's data connection. I have my Touch set to grab my email off the Exchange server and that works great. Wireless Sync of the calendar items works well too. The only thing I can't see is my Sent Items and any other folder I created on the Exchange server. The folder appears when I go to look at them, but there's nothing in them. Is this maybe an issue with the version of Exchange server I'm on (Exchange 2003). In 2 days I will be moved to the Exchange 2007 server though...so if this is the issue, then I'll know for sure then. Just curious to see if you all have seen this issue.
Also when I'm noved to the 2007 server, I can finally get HTML formatted email on my touch :). So says the documentation anyway. |
Re: Wirless Sync of Sent Items, etc (Exchange Server)
Have you tried opening Pocket Outlook, clicking Menu, Tools, Manage Folders, and then placing a check mark on the folders you want sync'ed?

Duh! I'm an idiot...LOL I thought for sure I checked that but I didn't. That's what it was :) Thanks.

Re: Wirless Sync of Sent Items, etc (Exchange Server)
Ok, 2 more issues.
I have the Sent Items now. That was something I had to set in the mail account under Folder Options. My problem is, I can't get the Deleted Items or Drafts folders to sync up wirelessly - and I don't seem to have the option to check them off as being folders I want to sync up. Any ideas on why this is? FYI - I'm on the Exchange 2007 server now. Unified Messaging is very cool - voice mail in my email, etc. Speech access, it reads my mail over the phone, attachs WMA attachments of my voice mails in my inbox, etc. Very cool! And the Outlook Web Acccess interface on 2007 is awesome - so many more features! It's like having the full outlook client on the web page. |
