music store not loading up
 

i noticed that my sprint music store wont load up.. once i click the icon.. it will start up and then freeze. im thinking maybe it had something to do with me downloading that new esmeretic java for opera mini.. does anyone else have this issue?

i never use sprint music store, but i have esmertec java. gimmie a min to try and load up SM and i'll let you know.


edit- ok, it freezes on the white screen that says "Java". hmm. can someone without esmertec java check this out?

lol, i kinda figured that was this issue.. i use to use that music store a lot because i have that employee plan :-) 20 dollars of free downloads each month.. i havent messed with is since ive gotten XM radio on my touch.. and after downloading the esmeretic java i havent had the chance to go into the music store.. but i decided to add a few songs to my library an what do you know... it freezes on the white screen lol hmm.... so im assuming that this new esmeretic java causes the music store to freeze..

ahh....lucky you with the employee plan. hey quick ? for ya. i just called in to swap over to my Centro for a few days while i do a rom swap and some other crap to my touch, and i was told that every time you do an esn swap your rebate timer gets reset. true? cuz thats reaaaaally shitty of them if it is true.

thats a load of crap, the ONLY time it should reset is if you are upgrading to a new phone while using that a rebate.. i mean if you paid flat out for a phone they wouldnt do so either...so thats garbage.. call again and tell them to do an esn change and let it be known that its a self owned device so they dont try to reset your rebate.. and tell them if it does reset you will be leaving sprint.. (trust me, when you want anything from sprint jus bluff it out and they will suck your toes ;-) the only downside if any is that they will prolly charge you a 18 dollar activation fee.. each time you do an esn swap, but you def shouldnt have to worry about losing your rebate..

oh an for the record.. if your rebate does somehow get reset while this process is done, be sure to raise hell, because they CANT FIX IT so you will be screwed.. unless you revert to option 1 like i said earlier and bluff like you are going to cancell an then they will definately work something out, they prolly will give you the same discount on whatever new phone you wanted anyway.. i tell you, you can make sprint your b**** when you threaten to leave, because they will do about ANYTHING to keep your business lol

Music Store doesn't work on anything but the stock java manager on the Mogul/Touch

well i have the stock one as well.. and when i tried to open it up from there it still froze... unless the esmeretec java took completely over somehow

I abandonded the MusicStore month's ago when I got my 4GB SDHC card. The music store only supports up to a 2GB card according to sprint. I dont miss that app at all!

You have to uninstall all java managers except the stock for it to work. Even if you try to load the sprint music store in the stock one, the fact that you have another manager installed affects it somehow.
