Turn microphone AGC on and off?

Is there a way to turn the mic AGC on and off in WM6? This was available in the control panel on WM5, but I can't find it in WM6. I've searched, and come up dry.

I'm asking because MS Voice Command is almost unusable in noisy environments with this phone. I remember my Treo 700WX being this way also, until I turned off the mic AGC. I'm hoping there's a registry entry for it, or some other way to turn it off.

Thanks in advance!

Dave

*cough*Cyberon Voice Commander*cough*

I know what setting you mean, and almost a year of messing with my WM6 i have yet to see that option, or even a tweak to get that option.

Is the Cyberon product as good as the MS voice command? Can I speak someone's name without having to voice tag each person in my contacts? I'm willing to give it a shot if it works better than the MS voice command on WM6. I've been struggling with it for way too long. I recently used a friend's 700wx (wm5) and it reminded me how well it worked back when I had WM5.

Thanks,
dave

Is this the one that you're using? http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=260732&page=7

I just installed the 2.0 version in that thread and it seems to have similar problems... It's not quite as flexible as MS either... Hmph. I guess I'm back to trying to find the agc settings.

Thanks anyway, guys!

Dave
