Touch Issues
 

Hey guys.. something weird happened to my touch last night and I need your help. I installed a program... I think it was Metrix and found that I did not want it. I removed the app and it asked for a reset. I said yes and let it do its thing... the title screen of comes on then the screen goes black and blank... my LED indicator is on telling me taht it looks like the phone is on but I cant get the screen to turn on???? I played around and pressed the camera button and sometimes the camera would come on and the screen would come on.. but most of the time no screen. Please help!!! Since I could not see the screen I could not do a hard reset either.


Some of the changes I made: i changed some of the registry settings for battery improvement. It is overclocked to 237. That's about it...
Is there anything I can download and used Activesync to try to do a HardReset?

You can also hard reset the phone by holding the red and green talk and end buttons and then hit the soft-reset button on the bottom of the phone while holding the red and green buttons.

Hard Reset Step by Step...even without a screen:

Press and hold the red and green buttons.

While holding those buttons, push the reset button on the bottom.

After you release the Reset button and then the red and green buttons, press the center button on the Dpad.

Wait for a minute or so. If still no screen, press the green button to complete the hard reset.

If that doesn't work, you should take it in for repairs.
