But all the searching I've done says that somewhere in the contacts I can specify a ringtone for that person (or group).

Yet I see no field for that on my Vouge (updated with the clean 6.1)

Am I missing it, or do I need a third party app?

If so which one, and where?

Also, is the OEM Voice Dialer avaiable in a CAB yet, to reload into the clean rom setup?

search for tone manager

when in contacts, select the contact you want (view), then menu->edit, scroll down, you can select a ring tone directly below their Mobile Tel: spot.

Not sure about groups

This is correct, you have to edit the contact and choose the ringtone for it within the edit window.

I don't think you can do groups with WM stock, there may be 3rd party apps that allow this though.

tone manager.....make sure all your contacts are grouped in outlook, then run tone manager to assign each group with different ringtone..simple as that
