Touch misdialing numbers???
Here's something I've seen more and more over the past few weeks. I dial a number by typing in the 10 digits (not a speed dial or contact) and then hitting the green button. I immediately put the phone up to my ear, and in a few seconds, I'm surprised by who answers the phone. I apologize for dialing the wrong number, hang up and look at the phone to see who I called. It's another number I've called in the past (it's in the dial history) who is not in my contact list.
I've had this happen 4 times in the last 2 days. Anyone else noticing this? It's pretty frustrating |
It did the same thing to me. Either delete your call history (probably wouldn't do that), or turn off Smart-Dialing. Very frustrating, I know.

yeah, its annoying. you can also not dial 12 digit numbers, which means i cant send backdoor voicemails

Turning off smart dialing is how to avoid the bug.

Thanks all. I'm guessing this is a WM bug and not specific to the Touch?

Dialed one of my contacts
I had a similar thing happen. I was test dialing a new phone number for work when a old co-worker that I had never dialed from my touch answered (he was only in my contacts).
