Re: iFade

I installed the cab for the ifade that musicman posted and everythign works great. BUt, I can't get my icons to change. I can change the associated programs but can not get the icons to change I go and find the appopriate brn and prbrn files but even after a soft reset the icons will not change. I did not install the original icube but have the cab from post 73. Someone help! I tried to uninstall as well but the uninstaller said that the program was not completely removed and even after another reset It is still running. Any Ideas?
BY the way very nice work I am just an idiot and am new at all of this stuff. THanks for all who had a hand in this app.

Make sure you have a value for "Background" in your APLauncher and CustAPLaucnher Registry folders.

To uninstall re-install it first, then uninstall. For some reason when you mess with registry values it doesn't like to uninstall on the first try.

Sorry for my ignorance but how do I do this? Do I need another program?

You can find the CAB file two ways

1) Go to the post where it was uploaded: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...7&postcount=73

2) While on the main page of the forum click the "<files>" icon on the far right hand side of the thread's title box. This will pop up a box listing all of the files that have been uploaded to this thread.

"My second page of 9 has some icons that showup, then disappear."

This is *not* a cube config icon issue, it's in the registry.....

HKLM/Software/HTC/Biotouch/Biotouch

App 3 & App 4 both have the same string data pointing at CustAPLauncher.exe

That's why it changes *after* the animations happen.

Change App 3 to ApLauncher.exe and soft reset

(This took me forever to find)

Okay I still can't get the icons to change. I am having problems with the icube side#1 and #2. icon position is 2nd row from top middle icon on both sides. How do I change these icons? I can change the apps and the name but not the icon.
PLEASE HELP! Love the app but this is driving me nuts.

Re: iFade

are you asking about the iCube, or iFade? This is the iFade forum.

Also, please detail how you are trying to solve the problem, not just that you have the problem. What are you using to try and change the icons? What are you trying to change the icons to? Do you have values for "Background" in your APLauncher and CustAPLauncher folders? I can't help you if you don't tell me exactly what's going on.
