Touch Keyboard Problem

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm very new to the "Touch." My Mogul died and Sprint replaced it with a Touch. Here's my problem--if anybody can help.

As you know, the Touch doesn't have a hardware-type keyboard like the Mogul. It's got a few different types of software keyboards that work on the touch screen. My problem is that since the keyboard is always on the bottom of the screen, it covers up anything that I'm typing--that's on the bottom fo the screen. For example, if I'm replying to an SMS, since the replies are on the bottom of the screen, the keyboard covers up my reply while I'm typing so I'm typing blindly.

Does anybody know of a way to fix this so that the bottom half of the screen moves up above the keyboard?

I apologize if this has already been addrssed in this forum but I looked and couldn't find an answer.

Thanks, KCHruby
