Bluetooth transfer issues
 

Anyone experience issues when trying to transfer files (.zip, .cab, etc ) from your pc to ur Sprint Touch over Bluetooth? I can transfer the files, sort of. By this I mean the files are transferring, where I see the status window and I get the notification on the Touch. I get a confirmation that the file has been transferred on the pc and I elect to save the file on the touch. But when I go to the My Documents folder (where all my sent files seem to end up, can't seem where to change this), there is nothing there.

I have tried zipping cab files, but nothing. I tried renaming the files; nothing. I have tried sending a file that does go across with the one that doesn't, but only the good one shows up. I have even tried shortening the name of the file; nothing. I'm left with looking for my sync cable and doing it that way, or using a memory card reader to transfer files.

I don't think it's my pc as I have restarted the pc and restarted the Bluetooth service, but to no luck.

nevermind. found where to change the folder and enable Bluetooth sharing.

to further elaborate, I found the best setting on my pc was to set the file transfer profile to File transfer (FTP) over Object Push. File transfer didn't ask/confirm where to put the file on my Touch because I already specified that in the Bluetooth settings. Object Push would notify me that I'm getting a file and try and put it in the My Documents folder, then ask me if I wanted to save the file.
