How to export contacts from mail2web to phone?
I feel retarded but I can't seem to figure out how to set up my mail2web account with my touch. I actually set up the mail2web account specifically just to store my contacts for my phone.
I can only do one activesync account on the phone and that's for my work email and when I try to do it with just "add a new email account" it won't login so I can update on my phone. Any ideas? I know a few of you guys use mail2web for your contacts management. |
I had the same issue today but active sync destroyed my phone. try googling "pim backup". sorry I don't have a link as I am on my mogul but it can also be found on XDA as well.enjoy

I was under the impression you could have at least 2 partnerships.
I just use the cab file with my settings that mail2web will generate for you. Now that I want to find it, I can't for the life of me figure out how to make them generate it again :( |
well that's good to know that it's at least possible - please let me know if you figure it out. just exporting and installing a cab would be ideal

any clues guys?

awesome - thanks. Unfortunately though it looks like I can only have one exchange server set up at a time for activesync (though I'd love to be proved wrong). So when I set up activesync to get my contacts from mail2web, it erases them when I set up my exchange server up for work.

You can only sync your device OTA with 1 Exchange Server, if you are sync'ing with your work server, then you cannot sync with Mail2Web.
You could always remove the work partnership, sync with mail2web to download your contacts, back them up with PIMBackup, and then remove the mail2web server and set up your work Exchange server again. Then just restore your contacts with PIMBackup. It takes some work but it's a workaround... |
