i dont have a touch but the best parts i fine are universal....slick messenger for aim ms and stuff....picsel browser is a great web browser althouhg it has some limitaions....and htc customizer lets u change some of the look of the htc home plugin....all very useful things to pimp out your touch

Don't bother with picsel more eye candy than function.

you probably wont find the average CS agent being able to offer this, maybe not even retentions, though they would be a better shot.
If you didn't already know, Sprint will be changing your contract in Jan, subtracting some fees, then adding fees, which will allow you to terminate your contract w/ no ETF. This has been confirmed by Sprint CS, but I believe you must see the change on your bill 1st. Call CS, tell them you want to cancel your service. They will transfer you to retentions. I did this very thing, but the retentions person pissed me off so I told them I'd call back. Instead of calling back, I emailed ecare, explained my issues (they had screwed up my account) told them I would cancel in Jan due to the fees if they didn't get it corrected. Ecare did straighten out the account, but a week later a guy called to make sure everything was resolved, and offered the Touch for $99 or Mogul for $150. I'm don't think it was an "out of the blue" courtesy call but a follow up from from email to ecare.

Yea i just called up sprint and first got a sales rep, and they told me they cant give me that offer bc its not like a sales deal i guess. so they connected me to someone else, maybe CS? but i let them know right off the back that i got this offer because i "was" having issues with my phone/service.
ok i called to double check the deal again and it was Account Services(1877 766 7679). $200 - $100 rebate = $100 Touch phone. They wavied my activation fee too. I tried getting free next day delievery but he wasnt having it lol. Last edited by krisnicaj; 01-02-2008 at 12:05 PM. |

Sprint wouldn't do it for me I went through 3 customer service reps in different departments. The last one stated the most they could possibly do was take 150$ off of the retail 500$ price tag. I have been with sprint for 5 years now so it seemed crazy to me that they wouldn't budge considering I went all the way to retentions. You are lucky if it works for you

I called account services first with the # you posted whne I called it said that the # had changed I then called that one and those people transferred me. After the several reps I ended up in retentions, that is not where I initially wanted to go, I told them I had been offered this exact offer and they told me that they could not help me. I just fired ecare an email though so whos knows
