Speed of the Touch
I was just wondering how fast the touch would be without touchflo running in the background. I hardly ever use it. Is there a way to disable it to test how much more responsive or how faster apps would launch.

nope sorry

When you do the soft reset before the sprint customizations start installing, what does that prevent form installing?

You can disable the cube. I did it and no speed differences.

Use registry editor set HKLM/software/OEM/TFLOSettings/EnableCube to 0 You can disable kinetic scrolling too. I've always had it off and find it pretty useless. I use Voice Command for dialing so favorites is not needed. And I have all the shortcuts I want on the Today screen so cube just makes it take longer to launch something. Cute/Cool Factor sure, functional no. |
mswlogo - no, that doesn't disable touchflo. It disables being able to bring up the CUBE and the use of scrolling but the software itself is still running in the background and so you're not gaining any performance advantage whatsoever. Nice try though.
