Need urgent help
 

Friends:

I erased all my contacts by mistake. My activesync preference had been set to sync from desktop to phone and unfortuantely I didn't have any backup on the desktop as such the contacts got deleted.

Can you point me to anyway I can recover the contacts on the phone

look in your Deleted Item on your desktop computers Outlook program.

i saw my note files but cannot see the contact file, what format should that be in?

pls kindly provide more update, i have been able to receover my notes from recycle bin but cannot find contacts...thx

Do you have a backup of your outlook file, or do you have a backup of the computer? Have you tried to restore your computer to an earlier time?

Sorry about the delay, Holidays and all.

I'm not talking about the recycle bin, I'm talking about Deleted Items in the Outlook program. Look in there.

no I didn't find any files in deleted items in outlook program.
do u think it might help if I do a system restore to an earlier date when I had the backed up contacts on PC

Bummer :( I don't know if System Restore will work, it depends on how much disk space you have free and how long ago it was, but it's worth a shot, but remember you will lose all changes you have made to your computer since the restore point it's not like a backup that you can pick and choose what to restore.

do u know what format the contacts are saved. What I am baffled is when I looked at recycle bin after doing the sync, I found notes and I was able to restore them but didn't find any contacts?
