Easy Icon instructions
 

I know that there are instructions either on this site, XDA, and/or pdaphonehome; on how to make icons with the brn converter. Is there anyway someone can make a step by step instruction set on exactly how to do this for the stock grey cube ( 6-app side & 3-App side). I think that the icon threads are not really going that fast as far as producing usable iicons

1. Find an image you want to make into an icon

2. Decide where on the Cube you want it to go.

3. Open the corrosponding Blank icon from the included zip in an image editor

4. Open the picture you would like to use as an icon

5. Use a selection tool to select only the part of the image you want to use for the icon

6. Copy the selection from the image and Paste it onto the blank icon

7. Save your new icon in a different folder (so you don't lose the blank icons)

8. Look for a way to change the brightness on the icon and make it about 65 -70% brighter

9. Save your new highlighted icon by adding "_HL" to the end of it.

10. Use the BmptoBrn App that is floating around here somewhere to convert your bmp to a brn.

11. Load the brn to the \Windows directory on your device

12. Enjoy your new icon!
