my father just got a htc touch off ebay (i have one as well) this is just going to be used as a PDA... no phone service.... i loaded up the newest radio, rom (all official, from sprint)... tested it out, restarted it, synced it up with outlook 2010... worked great, restarted it.. still working great... tried it out the next day again.. still working... just last night.. he was going to use it (for the first time) and the screen was unresponsive.. it would boot, time would change on the clock.. it wasnt frozen, i could use the hard buttons.. camera etc... but the touch was dead... so i thought to reload the firmware... which i tried.. but now i see this screen... (see pics attached...)_ and cannot go any further...
any help>?
oh, i should specify.. i loaded the dharveys black vista the second time... (im worried, is that going backwards.. i read about how its dangerous to downgrade radios.. but i think the radio stayed the same... only the rom...

please let me know what i can do..
thanks
pj

Wirelessly posted (htc Pocket PC: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP)

Try putting it in bootloader (power + camera + push stylus in reset hole) and flash the shipped rom and see if the screen responds after flashing. If not I'm afraid you have a hardware problem like a bad digitizer.
