Thanks. I found a program called SoftKey Manager and it works as expected. Can't remember where I found it though. Here most likely.

yeah, i actually had this on the computer and forgot about it, just extract it to your windows directory on your phone like it says and then soft reset ^_^

the only softkey i changed was to make contacts one of em. so its definitely there if you use the file i posted.

Couple of answers that haven't been questioned...wait, scratch that, reverse it.

1) You can get directly to your text messages from your soft key by putting this as your Open: \Windows\tmail.exe -service "SMS"

2) By default the right soft key is set to Contacts, but if you look in your registry there is not even a key for 113, so just go to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys and just delete the entire key "113" soft reset and it should default back to Contacts.

I'm sure it's an extension of cprog.exe, but I haven't found it yet. You can get to your call log by pressing the green "Talk" button and then pressing up on the D-pad.

Thanks i was just trying to find it so i could replace the calender soft key with the call log. If you do figure it out please post.

alright..
im fairly knew to this registry changing and i really like it..but i tried to change my left soft key to palringo and when i went into the registry editor..
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Today>Keys

i changed my default name(calendar) to palringo---it worked..
but then when i deleted calendar.exe and put in palringo.exe ..and reset my device it gave me a error..can i get some advice?
do i have to put program files/palring.exe or something..

i mean i like the programs that make these things easier but i like to find out how 2 do these things on my own..can i get a Amen..lol
