Is my Touch screen defective? uneven/horrible backlight
 

The backlit seems really uneven and it has horrible viewing angles compared to my Mogul.

Is this normal?

Check from sprint repair center.... if tec find problem they can exchange for you.

HAHAHAHAH! Its perfectly normal. Touch has richer colors but the worlds worst viewing angle. It makes it look uneven cuz on the terrible view angle. I got used to it. But yes, compared to the moguls its crap. But Id rather take the extra ram and sacrifice the better screen and KB and wifi and flashlight.

It's because the Touch has a trans-reflective screen. Meaning, it's viewable in direct sunlight. The Mogul does not, so it will be totally washed out and nearly impossible to see the screen in direct sunlight.

Problem with transreflective screen is the lack of contrast and piss poor viewing angle.

It's not that the Touch has a crappy LCD, it's a different one is all. But you get a feature that is not possible with the Mogul.
