Cradlepoint PHS300

Has anyone heard about this device.

I heard about it on gizmodo.com. It is a small portable battery operated wifi router for phones. You can plug a 3g phone into its usb port and use the 3g service with any wifi compatible device. It doesn't have any windows mobile phones in its compatibility chart but hopefully it will work with them. I just wonder will the usage require a tethering plan.
