Nuisance Problem
First a little background. I sync at home and at work. At home I sync contacts, tasks, notes. At work I sync my calendar. I like to use Messenger when I am at work with MyMobiler, so I plug in my Sprint HTC Touch and then run mobiler/messenger combo. The touch attempts to use my work internet to use messenger, but it is blocked, so I have to go in on the pocketpc to Connections/My Work Network/Proxy and uncheck the proxy. Then it properly signs in using the Sprint network. All works fine and dandy until I unplug the Touch. Next time I activesync, it re-downloads/activates the work proxy. Is there any registry hack or other that will prevent this?
Thanks! |

Can you tell me what settings you are using for My Work Network? (screenshots would work) I am trying to use myMobiler and messenger at work too. However, I cannot get my pocket PC to use the EVDO instead of my work desktop connection (so it fails to connect to anything including messenger, IE, etc). Thanks in advance |
Re: Nuisance Problem
I just want to give this a bump, I am having exactly the same issue on my Mogul. I have not been able to find a fix yet. I was just messing around and when I setup the Activesync I wanted to see what would happen if I told it to use the company Exchange Server. I do not know if this caused the problem, but I cannot get on through the Exchange Server and have exactly the same issue, and am currently using the same "fix" though I hope it is temporary
Thanks in advance for any help. |
