Are you effing kididng me?

So I spent all night hand typing out all my contacts and finally I decided to hot sync it with my outlook and it errored out and now it erased all my contacts!

This happened to me when I first got my 6800. I hadn't changed the setting in my phone's Active Sync setting that said if there is a difference between the device(phone) and the computer, to keep the information on the phone and update the computer.

Don't know if this is what caused your problem or not

Yeah that real sucks. You should have used pimbackup. It is a wonderful tool that will save you from things like that

Also, Check yur recycle bin, you may find most of the deletions in there.

Actually the entries should be in outlook's deleted items. Had a similar fubar with my contacts, and had to recover them. That's where I found them.
