Gmail Application not working
 

I did a ton of searches, but couldn't find the answer. Hopefully, you guys can come to the rescue! The new Gmail App v1.5 doesn't seem to work on the Touch. It keeps getting this message after setting it up "Sorry, the Gmail mobile app will not work on your phone. Your phone doesn’t have the appropriate certificate to communicate with Gmail. Try accessing Gmail on your mobile browser..." Does any have any solution around this? Besides setting up a mail account in the messaging section?

If you use Intent MIDlet Manager and re-install the gmail app it will work. I use the .1034 version of MIDlet mgr.

as a final tip, the 1.0.0 version of GMail works great on the HTC Touch and it runs quite a bit faster than 1.5.x. The 1.0.0 version has all the features that matter to me.

Its rather unfortunate that Tao no longer updates the Intent Manager. Everything I've run on it runs better than it does on Esmertec Jbed :(
