Wireless Sync

New Touch user here...

Is there a way to wirelessly sync my Touch with my PC?

Thanks!

Yes, after you get your touch and your computer paired up, go into activesync on the phone and menu/connect via bluetooth

Alright, I've done this before with a Moto Q, but I can't get it working for my life with the Touch. When I select Connect via Bluetooth it says it doesn't have an existing Bluetooth partnership with my pc. But the only type of connection my PC is recognizing from the Touch is Dial up Networking. I can transfer files back and forth and I can use bluetooth tethering for Internet Sharing, but I can't get it for Activesync. Any ideas?

if u have widcomm bluetooth, right click on the bluetooth icon in the lower right corner and go to bluetooth setup wizard.

you'll be given four choices. pick the second one from the top.

click on next to continue. select your device and click next again and then check the box for activesync then press finish.

I had a hard time with this as well. I finally figured out today that the Bluetooth Serial Port was set to "Automatic" so the Touch would always connect via the Serial Port. When I changed the serial port to Manual, the Touch would connect via the ActiveSync connection.
