So just to check -- did your app support the original vista cube? It doesn't support vista cube 2.0, which works with the new ROMs. Would enabling support for that be as simple as modifying that registry check, or do you think more would be involved?

If you do get a chance to take a look at enabling vista cube 2.0 support, also take a look at Spunks3's S3 Cube. I think it uses virtually the same structure for the Biotouch entries as Vista Cube 2.0, so if you can support vista cube 2.0, maybe S3 Cube support will also be as simple as making sure the registry check allows it as well.

Thanks for your great app!

Check your registry, does the following entry exist?

\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\HTC\\Biotouch\\Cus tAPLauncher

If so, try renaming it to CustAPLauncherOld or something. Then soft reset and see if that works.

Post your results here.

Thank you much, worked great! Even made some changes and reset and everything seems good. Thank you for the help!

Currently it only supports the stock cube, Vista cube 1.0, and the iCube. I use the original Vista cube and it works fine for me. I originally just wrote the app for myself to make my life easier at customizing the cube, but then I got a few donations with requests for iCube support, so I added that as well. I haven't had any time or desire to add support for any other cubes lately since I don't use the other ones. Over 10k downloads from rapidshare, so I guess it's in use as it is.

Can someone post exactly how to change the icons. I am having trouble figuring it out. Also, I changed the programs on the three app sided of the cube and now i get an error message when i click on them.

Does this work with Verizon phones? Forgive me if this is a silly question but the word "verizon" does not appear in the 43 pages of this thread or any other thread about cube configuration.
TIA,
Dan

It was developed for the Sprint Touch, but feel free to test it out and report your results. Installing it won't hurt anything. If it opens up and shows your program shortcuts then you are golden, otherwise the Verizon cube configuration is different.
