Memory Usage on Startup
 

Can everyone post their memory usage on startup after a soft-reset?

Mine is 31%

34% is that good?

Mine is 34%
Which I interpret as meaning the phone is using 34% of the available memory.
(I could be wrong)

usually 34, however the memory leak in win mobile usually means that by the end of the day im sitting at 50% with nothing running. I hate that.

I start at 31% as well, and drop to 41% by the end of the day after opening and closing a bunch of apps.

128mb ???
 

Am I missing something here. I thought we had 128 MB of ram. I look at the memory settings and its starts out with 105.20mb then its got the inuse RAM and FREE ram. How come it does not say TOTAL 128mb ???

When the phone starts, it is running applications (core system apps). These applications eat up your RAM which is why most Touch's start with 31% of their RAM already used up.
