Fixed my digitizer!

I bought a new digitizer off of ebay and replaced the one on my vogue (first time) because it was not working. The touch screen is working great now!

One thing that is bothering me though is that the middle of the screen is kind of lifted up like there is a bubble in the middle. I just have to push a little harder in the middle. I took it apart and tried to fix the little bubble, but I don't know what to do about it still. Any help please? Thank you!

Most of the glue that was left over was still sticky, so I just stuck it on quickly and it stayed on very nicely. Next time though I will probably have to use some sort of glue to keep it on. Sorry I can't help with what kind of glue to use.
Hopefully someone will say what kind of glue to use.

Re: Fixed my digitizer!

So, I took it apart again to do the re-gluing and I used some Loctite Clear Silicone Adhesive Sealant. It works great.

Now, does anyone know how to get the screen flat so I don't have to press harder on it than usual. It seems that there is air under it that makes it come out more.
Any advice would be great!

Re: Fixed my digitizer!

Well, when I looked at it again, I noticed that it wasn't between the digitizer and the lcd screen that was causing bubbles or air between them. I was touching the digitizer and there was air between the digitizer and the digitizer's plastic covering on the front. I was thinking about cutting it, but I don't know what to do. It is bothersome though with a huge air pocket in there.

Whoa! First, what would you be cutting? Most digitizers ship with a thin flexible plastic protective sheet stuck over the outer surface. Maybe you never removed it? Or, would you be cutting the actual lens? If the latter, then I would try to push the bubble toward the closest edge or corner and see if you can push the air out sideways. If not, maybe a pin hole would be better than cutting? Or, maybe you have a lemon and deserve a replacement digitizer from where ever purchased.

Yeah, thats what I meant, pin a hole not cut it. I don't think there is plastic that I can remove it. It seems like it is attached. I tried to see if there was a way to remove it, but there is no way to remove it, it's glued on there or whatever.
