Mailbox in cube goes to SMS
 

Both the SMS and Mailbox in the cube directs me to SMS. I checked the registry entry and the Mailbox path is tmail.exe. Is there a parameter that needs to be set?

This is how I set mine. This will make the mailbox icon in the bottom right launch Outlook.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Biotouch\APLaunche r\App5]
"Param"="-service "ActiveSync""
"Path"="\Windows\tmail.exe"
"Name"="Outlook"

note that ActiveSync is in quotes, it needs to be in quotes in the registry.

If you open SMS, then that will be the default screen that shows up when you click on the mailbox. The Mailbox icon only opens the Mail & Messaging program. Whatever folder you have open when you minimize it will be the folder that opens when you press the mailbox icon.

Is it possible to make it open a different mailbox? I created an account for my gmail. I want the mailbox icon to open the gmail inbox if possible.

Change -service "ActiveSync" to -service "gmail" (or whatever name you gave gmail)
Change the Name parm to whatever you want to show on the cube

You'll need to soft-reset to see the changes. Wait a minute, power off. Power on, Wait a couple secs, then soft reset after making the reg changes (so they are flushed out of memory to storage)

Sweet, I asked that in another forum and didn't get an answer.. Works perfect!

thanks. helped me out on Cube Config Tool, to get gmail working.
