Keyboard Apps...that are good
 

I just got my touch yester. Ecare came thorugh and I went and get it at the sprint store and they have issues a return kit for the Mogul...See Ya!!

I have been looking for a good keyboard app. I have the spd full screen board, but hate that the screen you type in is sooo small.

http://pocketcm.com/keyboard2.php this one looks like the best one I have seen..but a problem. When I type the keys respond and the cursor moves..BUT not text....

Can any help??

You are correct. PocketCM is the best I have used as well. Here is the fix:


Go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\ and change the key "XT9SupportMSSip" from value "1" to "0".

what reg editor are you using. Its been a long time since I hacked.

do I need the vga skin or not?

just be aware that when you do this youre turning off xt9, so if youre using the original keyboards that wont work.

ive found touchpal to be the best, though its not a full keypad. once you learn to use it its really cool

This one called Touchpal seems to be pretty good and it is still free. Go to cootek.com

touchpal's predictive text is awesome. I think after using your phone for a few months and you store in a bunch of the extra words into the dictionary, you'll fly with it.

I got sick of 'addword' so im back to the PocketCM atm but im still better off using my styl with the old keyboard. I think the 6700 and 6800 spoiled me.
