Can't seem to find the keyboard option again
 

Hello,

I just got the touch so I'm learning some things unique to it now. I prefer a full alphabet keyboard at all times. There is the standard one that came with the 6700 and mogul. It lets you switch between small and large. I kept getting the Touch keyboard which has more than one letter on a button. At one point I had a touch/htc keyboard that was larger than the standard MS one and had the black background but had all the letters of the alpahabet. I would like that to be my default but I can't even get it to come back up - I keep getting the combo button keyboard. Anyone know how I can get this one back and set it as my default? It only came up in one app - I think when I was setting up my owner info.

That keyboard only pops up when you are inputting a password. I don't think a way to make it permanent has been found out yet.

Start using the suretype keyboard you will fall in love with how fast you can type ;) hope you have OK sized fingers (no offense ;))

I'm using PCM right now and like it a lot - it doesn't always close but hey it's beta and free so who would complain?

is there anyway to mod the registy to display the keyboard for typing passwords

there's a way to make the full QWERTY "stick"; read here for more detail...

has anyone found a way to perhaps just make the full 26key keyboard another option instead of making it stick and disabling the xt9 keyboard?

I would like to use both of them at different times.
