anyone got PocketCM keyboard to work??? mine won't
Actually it sorta works...
I get the keyboard to load up fine but whatever I type, it just puts a blank character. Anyone else having this problem? anyone fine a fix? The 2 letter keyboard is annoying. Someone mention there's a hack for the 26 keyboard to come up all the time (not only for password and some internet usage) but I try searching for it and came up with nothing. |
are you talking about the touch keyboard found here

The touch keyboard with 2 keys on it I can't stand. I need a full keyboard... not no full screen one either. Just something like the one that comes up when you type a password. I saw some people said PocketCM was the best for them. I had it on my mogul and loved it... but it seems to not put anything down when you press the key.... just a "blank". |
sounds like a bad install i'm assuming you did a soft reset after install? that sometimes helps with things like this

From xda:
EDIT: Ok here is a fix for anyone needing it: Go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\ and change the key "XT9SupportMSSip" from value "1" to "0". Then PCM-K should work fine. Worked for me... |
hmm interesting it works fine for me i'm running helmi_c's new wm6 kitchen on a htc apache

thanks... much apppreciated... that 20 key keyboard is irritating. I might as well use a regular numeric cell phone pad. |

Worked for me also. Just can't get SK Tools to set i as the default keyboard. The 20 key Touch qwerty keyboard keeps coming up after reboot. Most probably because I used the hack to set it as the standard keyboard before I install PCM-K and it won't let SK Tools override it. |
