How to change city in weather tab (when not listed)
 

Hey guyz , How do I change the weather tab built in to use a city not listed in the pull down menu choices?????????

The closest city on that list is an hour away from where I live.

I'm not sure if this method works anymore, but do a search in the Titan forum, and someone made a post about it a few months ago.

Adding a city to the weather thing...??
 

Is there a way to do this? Ive tried changing it with regedt with no success. I also read somewhere else that you could copy the HH_0409 file in the windows folder to your desktop PC, and add your city in notepad, then paste it back to your phone, but it is a protected file and I cant even access the windows folder through activesync for some reason. Not to mention, this was the fix for the GSM version, not the Sprint version.

Is there a for sure way to do this?

I need some help... PLZ.. Adding city to weather thing. IM going crazy.
 

So Im trying to follow the directions from here:

This seems like it would work perfect, but every time I go to the HH-0409 file through total commander and unclick "read only", it changes right back to ready only after I hit "ok" to save the changes. Plus, when I try to edit the file, it tells me the file is too big, and you can only edit files 64K or smaller(this file is like 250K).

So damn frustrating!!!

Lost Weather Plugin
 

I tried to follow the instructions at htc-touch-info.com/en/weather on adding my hometown as an option to the weather plugin list, and the entire list vanished...I just get a blank plage when I go to the More options from the Weather tab. Does anyone know where I screwed up? Thanks much.

I cant edit a file..... Help!
 

Im trying to edit a file in the windows directory... Its the file that has the lists of cities. Im going to add my city, then link a new server to the accuweather website, and I chould then be able to get weather for ANY city.

Every time I try to change that hh-409 file to read only, it changes it right back automatically. Ive tried total commander and resco. I am able to copy it and move it to the storage card and edit it there, but I can get rid of the original one so I can replace it with my edited one....

The only thing that I cant change is the "In ROM" option. When I make a copy of this file, that is no longer selected and I can edit it.
