Voice Command 1.6 on Touch
 

Has anyone tried Voice Command on Touch yet. I am curious if it will still have the same issues the mogul has due to WM6?

I read on another forum it has the same confirmation issue over BT headset.

confirmation works good without the bt. i dont know if it works via bt yet.

did confirmation working without bt work on the mogul?

What do you mean by confirmation? Is that when it repeats the name you've said? If that doesn't work, how do you make a call over BT? Excuse me if I've misunderstood.

Also, does the Caller ID announcement work (either over the phone speaker or BT headset)? Thanks.

Yes, confirmation without BT on Mogul did work.

This can be fixed by digging for a patch someone released (worked on Mogul after applying patch).

I got my Touch today. Installed MSVC 1.6 and assigned it to a long press of the camera button. Turned it on with the features I wanted to use. The first few times I tried, I was able to make a call with my BT headset as I had with my PPC 6700, but after those few times, it wouldn't work. MSVC would come on, I'd issue the command, it would confirm it (over BT), I would answer yes, and then MSVC would just turn off instead of dialing the number. I reset the phone turned BT on and off and turned the headset on and off (and tried 3 different headsets), same results. If I use the camera button, it works fine, but not with the headset button. And, as I had expected, in all cases, the caller ID didn't announce (either to the phone speaker or the BT headset). Any thoughts?

I can't get confirmations to work.. even with the additional files found on xda.
