BT tethering

So after a couple hours, and a really long headache, I finally realized that BT internet sharing dosnt work with VINS v4 ROM. The only way to make it work is with a reg. edit. Ive downloaded CEREGEDIT, and dont know how to use it, I found the text that I need to insert over on XDA, but I dont know how to use the program to edit it. Any help would be great

Someone has created some text to put into the registry, but to be honest, Im not 100% sure how a registry works, or what it is. And I need to learn!
