My Manuf date is 7 Oct I just installed the MMS and haven't had any problems, but I haven't done the regedit yet since I don't know how to do that. MMS still isn't working either (Prolly since I haven't done the regedit.) Can someone explain how to get into regedit? (Is that another program hack to d/l?)

come to think of it, i installed the mms the first day and it got stuck in sleep mode overnight. mms wasnt working for me, so i uninstalled it the next day and its never gotten stuck since. mines 10.29

What is the sleep mode problem anyway?

The only real bugs I've found:

1) The OZ messenger loads itself whenever I soft reset, even after telling it not to (and making sure to hit the save option in the menu) time and time again.

2) Sometimes after awhile, the XT9 suggested words bar will stop clearing the buffer and so the words will just start overwriting each other. Soft reset fixes it no problem.

3) Sprint TV now says I'm not authorized... yet it worked on my mogul... its offering me a subscription for 7.95 a month. I thought SERO had Sprint TV? It was cartoon network, which I'm certain I had on the Mogul...

4) Not a bug but a slight complaint - battery life is definitely quite a bit less than my Mogul. Using the Touch just like I do my Mogul every day, the battery was down to nothing in no time. I pulled it off the charger at 11AM and by the time I got home about an hour ago, it was down to 5%. Less than 12 hours versus the multiple day usage I'd get out of my Mogul.

5) Can't use the 12 or 20-key boards in Opera or Opera Mini. HUGE negative here. Anyone know a workaround for this?
I'm going to try those regedits and see if they work on the Touch. Those seemed to increase the battery life of my Mogul quite a lot.

I'm happy to say though that there is ZERO memory leak. After closing all my applications, I'm left with about 73MB free and its 74MB on a clean soft reset.

Wakes fine for me. You running third party stuff? I have found that SPB's products and Phonealarm have caused this on both the Mogul and the Apache... probably the same for the Touch.

You sure? I created a Shortcut.INK (pointing to the .EXE file of the 'green' program) in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and it showed to be selected on the HTC Today plugin.

i have had my touch freeze when trying to wake up about 2-3 times this week.

I have just uninstalled the mms program to see if thats the issue, ps my phones rom is from 9/18/07 version 1.12.651.1

is this the most current rom?

I want to kknow asap, dont know if i want to exchange it or not.
