How to Flash a HTC Touch Vogue to CricKet Wireless
 

I had ALOT of problems trying to flash my HTC Touch to CricKet so here is a guide to flash your phone and skip the problems I had. :headbang:

1. Download GetSPC
2. Copy GetSPC.exe to the device its self or to a SD card.
3. Browse the device to find the GetSPC using File Explorer.
4. Run GetSPC
5. Enter your ESN HEX in the first box and then press "go" or something
6. In the "output" box it should be a 6 diget number.
7. Write this down you'll need it later.
8. Put the phone into "DIAG" mode by dialing ##3424# a program should launch
9. Once launched plug the phone Via USB into your computer
10. Drivers should install if not heres what I use -> Drivers
11. Download QPST
12. Once installed launch QPST Configuration
13. It should say SURF##### or something if not add ports, keep adding ports until phone is detected.
14. Once detected click on "Start Clients" then "Service Programing"
15. Once launched click on your phone.
16. Select "Read from phone" at the bottom
17. under codes change the "Service Programing code" to 000000
18. Then select "Write to phone"
19. Click on the "Roaming" or "Roam" Tab
20. Download a CricKet .PRL file from here
21. Once downloaded click on "Browse" on QPST Service Programing
22. Locate the CricKet .PRL
23. Select "Write to phone"
24. Then you'll need to call CricKet and ask them for your MSID or MID to your phone number, or if you already had a Windows Mobile phone dial ##000000#
25. Then you'll need to dial ##PST# (##778#)
26. Then Follow these steps -> Steps Credits to RyanMogul6800 for settings
27. Then you should run a CricKet ROM
MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE HAS BEEN UNLOCKED USING COKEMAN'S 2.31 UNLOCKER!!
28. Link to CoKeman's unlocker -> Link
29. You'll need to run a CricKet ROM Vetvito, makes some pretty good ROMs here is a link to them -> Link
30. Once you run the ROM updater you'll need to get a CricKet .CAB for Internet and MMS heres the .CAB
31. After that you should just need to activate it on your CricKet account
32. Go out and show off how great CricKet really is!!!

When I update my vogue faq (it's been a while now. lol, haven't updated it in ages and I keep saying I'm going to, but then I get busy in life and forget haha) I'll have to link over to here for everyone with cricket.

I have not found anything on GPS settings, Do you know of any so I can include them in this Thread?

Well I sure do? But I do want to point out a few things.
When you typed in the title to this thread it brought up suggestions, one of those is a Tutorial already posted and stickied. The auto suggestion is there to suggest threads to post in to cut down on the clutter in the forums and to make it easier to find information.
When I was helping you in your other thread you were referred many (10) times to my tutorial that has been sticky'd!
All of the information that you have posted here can be found in the sticky'd tutorial I wrote in more detail.
Your tutorial is well put together but is incomplete and can cause someone alot of head aches and maybe even a brick.
Step #8 People might get hung up here it could be either ##3424# or ##3424 (snd). This depends on the original carrier of the device.
Step #13 QPST will always display something in that field the field needed is at the top you should select your phone or MDN/MIN displayed.
Step #17 You will need to enter the original MSL before any changes can be made.
Step #28 You will only be able to run the Cokeman 2.31 unlocker if you have a previously GPS enabled ROM. Not all Vogues flashing to cricket will have this. This could cause a brick if not done right and at the least a big head ache.
Step #29 The ROMS you have linked to are great builds, but you will notice that they are no loner being supported by the chef or not being used lately.
There are many very important steps that you have left out and so I reference you to the ORIGINAL (Updated 1-10-2010) How to flash a Vogue to cricket with GPS Tutorial. again!

Some of what have been changed I flash phones weekly and use the original tutorial with no issues, except for some Alltel devices that seam to have the carrier info hardwired into the memory and even then there are work arounds. I still stand with what I have pointed out above and really feal for anyone who tries using the 2.31 unlocker on a WM 6.0 Non GPS device.
