Xv6900 gps ?

My VZR XV6900 has VZNavigator active and I signed up for the 30 day trial. The VZNav works but Google Earth never gets th GPS lock. HTC GPS Tool picks up 7-8 sats. I'm running a stock Vz rom.

Can someone tell me what I missed?

Thanks for the response. I ended up with a Droid so my GPS problem is gone. :)
