Just updated my ppc kitchen BuildOS and now it will not load in Vista. Updating again to see if it fixes it.

Did you download the Installer today? They have updated it since yesterday.

Steps:
Removed your old kitchen.
Install.
Run the updater.
Should then work fine.

For some reason 28002 does not like the Vogue. Large programs like TomTom will not load due to insufficient memory, even when nothing else is loaded but the ROM and TomTom. Was slower moving, probably due to the size. Had to go back to 23506 for stability.

Yeah a lot of people are having issues with 28002. I have not seen any of them, just lucky I guess. :mrgreen:
Are you using any compression? LXR will take more ram and could be part of your problem. XPR is better and default. Selecting None for a compression is really the best way to go but then you start running into other problems.:???:

I unfortunately tried them all with no luck. I had no issues with the ROM. It flashed fine and everything ran fine. My problem came when larger programs, demanding more memory, would not initiate. I use TomTom daily, so that is a must for me. Maybe the next version will be better.
Right now 23506 is stable and perfect for me.

PPCKitchen is updating the vogue_core.rar file, should help with non-booters with LZX compression!:mrgreen:

i was asked by vin to see if i could LZX compression working on the new ppc kitchen ( A big thanks to dresillide for the files , all i did was put them in the right places ) I have attached the files to this post, you shouldnt need to change the Vogue core but as that is your base, to get the donor xip use xipkitchen to port the new xip using the attached xip then dump that using xipport using 28002 as a guide build your new donor base. :mrgreen:

Thanks for that! I have made them before, I wasn't having any Issues.
Looking around there was a lot of Vogue users who had them, so I started comparing the files and remembered when Joojoobee666 told me to replace the cecompr.dll when we were testing the new ppckitchen.
It turns out the core was never updated... That's why everyone was having these issues. And All they need is the cecompr.dll and everything should be just fine. Our they can use your core you just attached!:mrgreen:
