Flicker adjustment is related to NTSC or PAL format, which is good I guess if you REALLY wanted to view it on your TV.

Speaking of the camera again, I got sick of NFSFAN's ROM (mainly because of the camera issues) and flashed back to my own. Problem is, I don't have the same camera options that NFSFAN's ROM had, such as the video resolution; the only choices I have now are M and S. How do I enable that stuff?

EDIT: Nevermind, there's a regedit for those. Got it!!

EDIT2: Does anyone know how to enable AVI video recording? The registry has a folder for it but it's not enabled for some reason.

Does this include .NET CF? If so, what version?

To help share the wealth... :idea1:

This is what this site and others like this are all about!!!:thumbleft:

The more we share and ask questions the better our ROM's will be in the future! :headbang:

This is a noobie question and may be in wrong forum, but I can't figure out where else to go. I'm using NFSFAN's custom ROM on my Touch and everything was going great. I even had everything syncing through MS Exchange with my Google account.

All of a sudden my contacts starting acting weird. First they would start doubling or more after a sync. Now, the entire list is blank. I've tried syncing and re-establishing the outlook. Calendar and gmail work fine, but the contacts screen remain completely blank.

HELP! I absolutely need the contacts on my phone (Touch).

I WAS using his ROM, then flashed back to mine. But the Flicker adjustment applies to the HTC Camera in general, I believe.

Re: *Updated: October 12th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

First and foremost, thank you NFSFAN for a great rom.

I did have a slight problem and was wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.

I'm having a problem updating weather for a custom city in Manila 2D weather, after adding the city according to the instructions on the first page. I can add the city okay, I'm just getting the "unable to download weather data" error when I try to update.

I've tried both using the location code from accuweather and a US zip code. I also noticed that custom DNS servers are built into the ROM, and reverting these back to normal didn't help either.

I've tried to search for a fix, but the only solutions I've seen are a patched version of manila that is older, and the aforementioned custom DNS settings that are already built into the rom. If anyone has come across this issue and found a solution, I would appreciate it if you would share it with me.

Thanks again.

There is a fix in his xda thread towards the end.

Re: *Updated: October 12th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

Hi all-

I'm using the latest NFSFAN rom. I'm having an issue. When I use RSS HUB and/or my outlook email, when I scroll vertically both programs will often switch to the next message. In other words, my vogue detects a horizontal gesture and advances to the next feed or next email. The horizontal swipe gesture is so senstive I just have to move my finger a few milimeters and it will detect the swipe and go to the next message. As hard as I try to move my finger straight up and down, I am constantly having the phone erroneously advance to the next feed/message due to a horizontal swipe gesture.

Is there a way to increase the distance my finger has to move before detecting a horizontal swipe? I know Ftouchsl had a function like this--something like horizontal swipe = 30% of screen. Or maybe it was ultimate launch that did that. Whatever. The point being is there a way to lower the sensitivity of the horizontal swiping gesture. Thanks!

Matt

Try Realigning your Screen.
When I do mine I press as lightly as I can...
