Does anyone have a fix for connecting to the internet using the data service? I'm able to make phone calls just fine, and i've entered in the appropriate username and password per verizon i.e. telephone#@vzw3g.com pw: vzw.

Any help would be appreciated...I love the new ROMS, but get no functional use if I can't use the data service in order to get maps out of windows live or google maps.

does anybody have a louder audiopara file or a tweak to make the overall volume louder with this rom? i know nsfans 6.5 rom was darn loud.

I have verizon and I haven't had any problem connecting. did you run the dcd cab? and if you did try connecting without running it.

ummmm im kind of new to the whole flashing thing....I'm using a vogue from bell and where can i get the cab files for that carrier? and on top of that can some one point me to a guide (one that is easy to understand) on how to flash my phone??? thanx

Heres one in post 368 from vin. It's a cab file and it works great.

yeah, thats the one I posted for someone else in his thread.
he just made it a cab.
I made a cab too in my post above. along with the actual file.
and made the cab so it'll just install automatically to windows directory
and doesn't ask where to install.
Also, i'm working on making an oem for rom cookers if they really want one. but it would be better if they'd just replace the files in the sys instead of using an oem.

okay i got the carrier files, and i tried unlocking my phone, im not sure if it worked or not, how do i get into bootloader?

okay the installation was successful and its running smooth right now, thanks a lot for the rom and the directions to bootloader, it looks great and performs great too

Very helpful, thank you. I think I downloaded the correct dcd cab, but it didn't work. I'm using the xv6900 with verizon, could someone point me to the exact cab so I can try to use it? otherwise I guess it'll be onto giving ROM #3 to give it a shot.
