I just installed the 6.1F rom for my bell htc touch. I am getting an error message when i am trying to setup the mail with gmail. Its telling me "cannot connect with the current connection settings. to change your connection settings, tap settings"

My internet and everything seems to be working fine

I dont think gmail has ever worked.....at least never with any rom ive used

oh really? i was using NFSFAN's 6.5 21812 V12 GENERIC CARRIER ROM till now and it was working like a charm

ugh...damn nfsfan and his great 6.5 rom....

Try another try of email and see if it works, if it does then its the gmail bug again

Nice work. Sprint 6.1F is impressive.

I like the 6.5 interface, but it's too buggy/incompatible with apps for me.

hmm this was a rather weird problem... so i went and installed ur 6.5C and tried to do the entire mail thing but did not work. I went back to NFSFAN and his stopped working as well... then i went to the bell's stock rom and first try it did not work either. But i created another account name and inputted my settings and it started pulling the mail. So i loaded back ur 6.5C and tried 20 times before it started pulling mail. So its rather a weird problem this... I donno

Also a noob question... if i install the clean version, what would be the barebone cabs that i should install... i tried to look for a link for office but couldn't find 1 anywhere.... anyone have any idea where i can get it?

Ok now after insalling 6.1 full for the 4th time I can send pictures but I can not receive pictures it says the picture exceeds the limitation that I set how do I change this I've looked ever where?

Funny, just installed 6.5c today, have gsync and two gmail accounts working fine. Going to give 6.1f a shot. :)

Alltel might have a limitation set on picture size
