1. Install GC VZW MR1 GPSUninstall.cab.
2. Navigate to Start -> Settings, and click on Remove Programs in the System tab.

4. Soft reset the device.

It's working again!!!! Valhalla GPSserver just stopped working on my xv6800 about two weeks ago, and today it started to work again. Woohoo!

interesting, another thread thought it was locked out by vzw, a move that is typical of them. maybe your reinstall overrode anything vzw did to lock it out.
