so where are the GPS location settings then? after I flashed this rom they aren't in the phone settings anymore

I can definitely add my comments about the bluetooth problems. I tried for a week to figure it out, but I had to go back to my previous rom (dharvey).

With the Dette 2.3 rom my Plantronics bluetooth headset would only answer a ringing phone about 25% of the time. The rest of the time the phone would just keep ringing.

In other words, when a call comes in I press the button on the headset. With other roms the call is answered immediately. With this rom it's very unreliable.

It was only a problem answering calls. I never noticed a bluetooth problem when placing calls.

I flashed to OMJ's ROM last night and the Bluetooth works fine. No more problems. I do miss Dette's Rom though :(

I finally got my GPS to work, but now the only thing that is bothering me about this rom is when I recieve a call and press answer it delays about 4sec before it connects the call. Any ideas? Can I remove the preloaded slide to answer and just use S2U? because I know that runs quick and smooth

it might be the 'good old dialer issue' that people have (i dont personally have this problem
try installing a different dialer thats for CDMA

Not sure about the "good old dialer issue" but I can definitely report after a day of using it that the WDM 1.6 Diamond rom does not exhibit this problem with my phone. Here's a link to the rom - it seems pretty similar to Dette's:

As functional as that ROM is you will see that when you run into a problem there, no one will be around to help so much as there is in this thread.:scratch:

Well I want to help :) I want to know the people who use my ROM can feel free to ask questions about it (however "noobish" they may be) and get a good answer either by me or another member who uses my ROM.

Dette's ROM is so awesome I'm even trying to help even though I'm actually USING a Touch Diamond without his ROM obviously, lol.

I really want to learn about this Bluetooth issue because it perplexes me why it would be a problem with his unless he modified some of the bluetooth settings...
