I think for me its bed time hahaha.. I didnt get a lot of sleep the last night .. But I just dont wanna go to bed haha

Same here! I just lay in my bed and watch my big *** tv (just got a 52" 1080p lcd SICK!) and fall asleep.

I flashed in another rom to see if it does it there but it seems to be something specific to this rom.

I have never used garmin so I cant actually comment on this I am sorry

Searching the forums shows the errors to be rom errors (seems to be a problem with many roms and no good solution)and the only solution seems to be a hard reset. Are the files missing?

I have run into an issue where when the Connect to PC window popped up, I picked Internet Sharing. Dont think I checked "Dont ask Again", but I might have. Now I cant get Active Sync to connect. Anyway to fix it?

I'm replying for a co-worker that just called from out-of-state w/ a problem. He recently flashed his AllTel HTC Touch w/ the 2.3 ROM. Everything was OK here in Michigan. However, now that he's out of state, looks like he can't call. His phone gives the message "Authentication Code can't be verified." He contacted AllTel, who' saying he needs to check the Services tab to make sure "Home Only" isn't selected, but he can't locate it. Wants to know if you have any suggestions, other than what I already told him, which was to always flash back to the original ROM before calling the vendor.

He should now have the Services Tab

BTW He doesnt need to flash back to the stock ROM to CALL Alltel but he should ALWAYS flash back if he takes the phone into the Alltel repair center or any Alltel store

I personally haven't had that registry change work, but reading VetVito's thread on xda-devs i found the following post

which has some modified DCDs. The Sprint modified DCD brought back my services tab.

I have just done multiple testings with the dialer and s2u2 is definitely the culprit.
It is it's CAller ID function and the screen with the green and red button is part of s2u2 's caller id. disabling s2us without first disabling the caller id won't remove your phone from using s2u2 caller id function.
Disable the caller id
the phone will say it needs to be reset.
The dialer should now be working
(to disable the slide2answer -s2a- the caller id function has to be enabled)
