Dette...thanks for the awesome rom. Everything works great on my phone except for: I'm unable to receive incoming calls, only make calls. Would installing a cab version of the Opal Phonecanvas fix my issue. If so can you provide a download link. I did installed the latest sprint dcd cab.

My second issue is with s2u2...there time when it freezes and I'm unable to unlock. I need to give a few minutes before it starts working properly.

My last issue is with live search gps. I'm unable to lock gps...I get an error message which says "could not communicate with gps on port 0." I am able to lock gps just fine with googles maps and telenav.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I haven't seen any resolution as of yet. Vetvito just posted a new version of his kitchen, so I know dette is playing with that. Hopefully it's fixed in there...

Just figured out what went wrong, because I also have a touch pro it selected automatically the touch pro .cab for pic mail thats what happened also if you have sMMs it will go to that by default youll have to delete sMMs if you want to send and recieve with the new sprint picture mail by the way it integrates right into messagingso dont freak when you cant find it in programs ...have a great day :headbang:

I turned s2u2 off for the moment and it seems to help somewhat with the answering calls. Best way is to just press the hard answer button several times to pick up calls..

For the live search gps problem... go into Live Search > Menu > Setting > change to GPS COM4.

Heres the main one I want to answer.. Or respond too.

YES I am playing with Vet's new kitchen! Just downloaded it last night and went to sleep so I am messing with it today before I go to work.. Hopefully can release something good with it..


Answering calls.. I have no idea what the deal is.. Doesnt happen for me at all.. I wonder if its the radio version.. I have 3.42.30 which is not the latest the latest is 3.42.50 so thats just a thought

Hi, I installed this cool ROM in a phone for my gfriend, and it looks great. The only issue I had was when watching streaming TV (like SprintTV but from my local mexican carrier Iusacell) the connection kepd dropping, It felt like it was an issue where the phone didn´t recognize that the evdo connection was in use and closed it down. Do you know where I can tweak that? so the connection doesn´t closes by itself?

Dette...The radio version has nothing to do with this issue. I have Sprint w/ radio 3.42.50 and could not answer all calls only some, but had no problem dialing out. I am pretty sure it's the GSM Opal Dialer you are using, as I have read somewhere that it has been documented as a dialer not to use with CDMA phones. There is also a data issue as well which I am sure you heard, as my Microsoft Direct push was useless unless I hit send receive manually. I hope Vet's new kitchen has fixes for these issues. I look forward to your next version, as this ROM is the best M2D rom I have used to date.:scratch:

Please don't think I'm complaining. By far this is the absolute best M2D ROM out there and I can live with the minor issues (if you can even call them issues) I mentioned above.

This ROM has tweeks that make it work perfect when making calls, browsing, navigating, texting, etc and no other M2D ROM can say that. Again, I thank you.
