Here is my suggestion:
Do a clean rom first. (which can be used for all carriers).
If the clean Rom is stable, then you can start tweaking the add on.
There are lots who want a clean rom and add their own programs especially new version/builds comes out often.

ps:I see you are missing BELL.

Yes.. I can do Bell tonight.. Yes piggy99 thank you for your suggestion i always like to know what people like and dont like.. I will think about those options.. I have a clean ROM which works real well.. Which is also in this post.. I will probably put out a clean ROM with the latest build

I am using version 1 of the Verizon rom. It is the best I have seen yet, but I have one problem when on the phone...if you go to turn the speaker on and then go back to the keypad - it locks up. Any suggestions?

Could you explain a little bit more what you mean?

Sure...If you dial a number then turn on Speaker phone to listen then realize that you need the keypad to dial in a a password, then go back to call staus. Once back on the call status screen it is locked and the only way to get free is to soft reset, even the hard keys do not work. I really like your rom and would like to keep it running. I am verizon and running Radio 3.42.30... Another small problem is the S2u2 settings screen produce an error.

the rom is good but when it loads 4 vzw the flame skull wit sprint coms up,if u can do somthing it would be appreciated

If that isnt working then I will build a new ROM... Or just wait for an update.. I am currently building one... Shouldnt be to long

Thank you dette! This is one of the nicest looking 2d roms! Could you help me with two issues. Soft reset removes people and touchpal wont show up after install. Im running vzw version. Thanks.

hmm it removes the people? it doesn't on mine that's very weird did you install any cube apps or anything ? and the touchpal hmm lets see what do you mean do you mean it won't make it the default


PS: You guys wont be waiting so long for an update like what happened with the Clean ROM.. I waited a long time to update to TouchFlo 2D.. This time it wont be so long.. Im working on it :) Just a heads up! Im just having the problems with the registry with building my first test ROM =\

The telus version is working well, but I also have errors and issues with S2U2.
Also, sometimes when my phone rings and I miss a call because the other person has hung up, the audio player just starts randomly playing??

Anyhow, lovin' it and I'm sure the minor bugs will be sorted out in due time.

Yes there are some bugs.. I am currently trying to squash the Slide2Unlock2 bugs thanks for reminding me :) and the audio manager bug is known and i believe it is a problem in TouchFlo 2D because it happens even if I install on another ROM

Bell and Cricket will come soon! I will either make ROM's for those carriers are just wait until I release my update which will be universal and you can use DCD's carrier cabs for it..

just flashed a bit ago very pleased minus the keyboard any suggestions on the best vogue keyboard out there? i was fine with the stock htc touch keyboard

Ok the keyboard.. You installed the 2 CAB's for the Diamond keyboard in Tier Auto Installer?? Thats pretty close to the HTC Touch Keyboard.. there are cabs for the Touch Keyboard so you could just go back to that if you want

With GPS Locks.. Go into Settings>Personal>Phone and then go to the location settings and turn location off and then restart and turn it back on

Awesome rom Dette... I love it, the only manilla 2D rom that I found with sprint tv that works. Unfortunately im having the same issue, gps doesn't work...can't lock gps. I DID as you said, shut gps location off, restart, and turned gps location back on and no luck. Is there a fix...can someone help pls? Thanks!

Hmm that is very weird!!! I am trying to think why that would be happening... Are you using Google Maps to test the GPS? or Live Search or Telenav?

Yes that is the audio manager bug i am referring too.. There is no fix as of yet.. I will hopefully find one

The all programs button does not take you to your programs? Thats really weird... I havent had that happen.. I feel a little helpless because I cant think of why that would be happening.. Hmmm.. Let me think on that

Glad I'm not crazy about the audio manager bug. Is it specific to your build or does this happen on other manilla ROMs? I can't find a work around except to remove all the music from my phone. The programs button isn't such a big deal. I'm going to try a reinstall and see what happens. Thanks.

Dette thanks for the quick reply...hope you can help. I've tried locking gps with google, live search, telenav and no luck. It is wired...i have never had this issue before. It would be nice if it worked...hope you can help.

Are any other sprint users having this problem?

Yes, GPS works. I used it a couple of hours ago on my touch.

GPS through iGo8 works well for me- on the Telus version of this ROM...

Dette... I finally was able to lock gps. I had to do a second reset...a reset after turning gps location on. Thanks for your help.

I believe its the version of Manilla 2D I am using.. I am trying to update it and squash the bug.. If you want you can install the latest version of Manilla 2D and see if it fixes it


As for everyone else I am glad you got GPS working!

Hello all!

I installed this ROM last night - it's my first custom ROM. Worked great, but there are a few little things I'm missing, maybe someone could help me out?:

The original touchflo had a couple of features I miss:
1)a link that allows you to toggle the back-light brightness
2)an easy way to switch between mode (silent/vibrate/standard/etc) I just found this on the setting pane,

Is there a way to customize the Manilla home screen that I’m missing? I have no use for the Call History link, I’d like more space for appoints.
Can appoints be displayed one per line? (Is this a skin thing?)

IM doesn’t seem to work with MSN – I get a “user does not exist (code: 920)” error.

Someone mentioned that “people keep disappearing” and I now understand what they meant. Contacts added to the people pane vanish on restart, and contacts added to the cube panel over-write the people panel (but not the other way around.) A work around is that the contact on the cube remain on reboot – but that’s just 9 (fine for me, I have no friends)

To customize TouchFlo install Manila 2D Customizer.. It might help
To switch ringer types go to the Settings panel and then Sounds
I really cannot figure out the IM problem.. Ill look into it
The people.. Yes add the first six via the Cube and then the last row add on TouchFlo

Ok everyone.. Im getting a lot closer to releasing an update to my Manilla 2D ROM! Heres where I am unsure.. Should I release an update based on and built with Vetvito's kitchen? Or use the PPC Kitchen?
POST WHAT YOU THINK PLEASE!
