Yeah.. Well I set up internet sharing hack in the ROM for Sprint not thinking about other carriers =\ So yeah I am uploading a different one

I found out that this ROM does not install into the Windows directory epst.exe, DMrouter.exe etc etc (and neither does the Telus carrier cab), so that explains why I can't get ## dialing codes to work.

I'm still not sure how to get these programs installed, though. I tried installing the sprint epst cab, but it mentioned being incompatible with this ROM and it would not install.
I installed the phone codes folder too, but without the exectables, they're obviously not working.

Any help?

Hey Dette, I was having the Internet Sharing problem on the older version of you TELUS Lite ROM. I tried installing the Internet Sharing Hack, and it removed the ability for me to tap on the connect button to get the Internet sharing option started. Removing the hack allowed me to connect again. Any ideas, or was that hack made specifically for the newer ROM you posted?

Oh and BTW, the Internet Sharing problem I'm having on your lite rom is that it keeps disconnecting, and I have to keep re-connecting by tapping on the connect button. just in case you needed a refresher.

Hi Dette, I have to say I love the new rom. I just put it on and got done setting up. Just like Braxton I cant get the dmrouter or epst. Its as if they are not even there. Also, is there a way to check the location setting? In this particular dialer I dont see the option for it. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Edit: Here is a copy of DMRouter if anyone wants it. At least till Dette answers. Hmm I cant get this version of dmrouter to work:(

By default the dialer is made for GSM. I have included the packages to make it support GSM in my cabs. If you are one a different carrier than I have provided, let me know and I will try to make a new one. If you are on one of mine, let me know and I will fix it.

I'm on Alltel but I didnt see a v2.0 for it. It just seemed to be a regular rom and I installed the dcd carrier cab.

MY carrier is Telus (CDMA).
Is there any hope of getting the dialer to work with the various ## commands?

The weird thing is I tried installing a bunch of other dialers over top of this one, but all failed the ## test...

Will 911 still work?

Braxton, it seems dmrouter and epst are not in this rom (from what I can see). But, the registry entries are there. So at this point I dont think any of the ## codes are going to work.

Ya, I found a copy of DMrouter.exe on the net too, but it's still not launching.
Never did find an epst.exe though.

It's too bad because I really like this latest ROM. I rarely use the ## commands, but still it's nice to know they would work if I needed to use them.

Agreed, I actually only use the ## in my initial setup of my phone. After that I dont touch them.
