i installed the official alltel update and now its getting gps locks faster than ever before, like 2-5 seconds. on your rom, i even had the a-gps mod installed with the gpsone settings and the registry mods. so i was wondering, what all files do i need out of your cabs to install the m2d interface thing. so i have the music plugin, youtube plugin, weather, everything, including the new comm manager look and everything so its exactly like in ur rom, but on alltels rom

sometime in the future, could you get the alltel navigation thats included in the new alltel update cab so we can install alltel nav on your rom. or maybe cook it into ur rom if u can

just so you know, im going to install ur latest beta rom on my other touch and test the gps locks and see if it locks as quick as the official alltel rom and i'll let you know how that worked out

i can get the cab tomw.for navigation. and then the folder go look at Manilla folder install those cab. comm manager wont look the same. also gps will be quick in alltel navigation cause that is agps. but my rom will not have agps unless you do the agps hack

I tried alltel Nav and personally wasnt that impressed. I definatly dont think I would pay for it. what do you use for nav Con?

Hey Con - just wanted to let you know that somehow along the way my bluetooth will activesync now. The only thing that I can remember that I've changed was I installed all the Alltel files you posted previously except for the Alltel Nav program. Could one of those files possibly made it start working again? I also did ShawdowTechs gps mod this morning and WOW what a difference that makes!!
Just wanted to let you know about the bluetooth working. The RevA in the new rom - what are the beeifits? I thought Alltel already had reva?

Thanks I will look into it. I just deleate every cab file I had in there, Once I have time I will get everything organized and put them back up.

I am not sure because I dont really use windows media player, and I dont use the stock rom, I am sure it has something to do with dshow drivers or mhub drivers that i use in my roms, since they are the latest drivers from htc.

okay thanks for letting me know that it is working now. I am glad to hear that. and yeah shadow-tech gps hack is amazing, if anyone would like gps, and does not do that is just crazy, the results are amazing.

Alltel has had revA in the past, it was not that consistant though, in the new rom there is now a setting to turn off revA by dialing ##778. Also there is a new RevA icon that will show. So no big change. but now you will see that icon, that is about it.

hey Con, hows life back at the dzily grind. I was wondering whats the real diff between EV and REVA? how bigga diff will we rezlly see?

the only real difference is that if you have REVA tower in your area, (At the moment alltel has limited REVA towers, sprint has a much larger area) you will expierence a greater upload speed, download speeds are very similar, however upload speed are about twice has fast on REVA over EVDO. The change isnt to great, but it is a little bit.
