DHarvey and OMJ have both customized their ROMs for different carriers - Verizon included. I personally LOVE DHarvey's. I've been using it since it was just a Sprint ROM. His latest version is awesome & works great on my verizon XV6900.

Dharvey's has suited me well. I tried others which are good too but to my own personal preferences Dharvey's has everything I need and its very fast and stable. Dont get me wrong the others are good too. Once I got brave enough to flash my phone I do it all the time now just to try out the others but then I go back to Dharvey.

As a Verizon user I have been sticking with my own for mms/sms working right and the few chefs making Vzr versions usually they come out much later then their Sprints and by the time they do the kitchen seems to be on a new version.
Not complaining at all, just my personal preference to play with the new stuff and keep mms working at the same time.
Though Dan's new Verizon rom is looking rather tempting...

As a Verizon user I would use the kitchen tomake your own and if you don't have the time for that just use a rom that is verizon specific, there are a few out there. I have used both OMJ and DHarvey and both are great.

Unless you do something dumb your phone won't stop working. I work in IT and am required to be avaialble for calls and text alerts 24/7 and I never run into any issues getting my calls/messages. If anything I find that Mobile 6.1 is better and allows me to be more productive (more Outlook options) and I bet Verizon is never going to release an update or wait an extemely long time.

always 10 sec gps locks, no real problems, very stable, only had a couple hic-ups.
