I finally got my GPS working yesterday after hours of troubleshooting but I don't really know what I did to get it working. Woke up this morning and I having a hard time getting it to work again. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone who used PPCKitchen BuildOS's 20270s kitchen had a dailer issue. I can dail and everything but nothing lines up the bar at the top where the numbers usually show up stays empty. The back button is next to the number 3 and the call history button is next to the number 9 when they should be next to the window that shows who you are calling and the last person you called. When I dail the numbers go where the buttons should be and the area above stays empty. Anyone else experience this issue. I used the Daimond dailer and it was this way so I tried t dial designer to try to create new numbers to see if that would fix it but still the same thing here is a picture of what it looks like.

I got my dialer issue figured out. Don't select the smart dialer.

Re: DHARVEY'S Black Vista ROM V2.9!! GPS, REV.A, WM6.1(UPDATED-7/30/08)Carrier Versio
Hi all, I'm a total noob with this stuff so I appreciate this site! I was previously using OMJ's verizon custom rom, and when I would receive txt messages longer than 160 characters from vzw customers they would come in but broken into multiple messages.. which was fine =) However, now that I have flashed to the Dharvey verizon 2.5 now if a vzw customer sends me a text longer than 160 characters I get a message stating, "Preceding msg modified Media Objects were removed" after the first 160 characters are displayed. Is there a fix for this? aside from that I prefer Dharvey's rom. Thanks again!

Hey, first off thanks for your work on this cool rom.
I've made the changes to the registry as stated below, this removed the icon from the home page but if I click on scenarios with programs it still gives the same message as stated in the previous thread. What is scenarios anyway?
As for scenarios, use PHM regedit find and change to HKLM\ControlPanel\ETEN\ScenariosOption\Enable=0 ShowIcon=0

One thing I miss from the vz rom is that task manager in the upper right hand corner, is there a way I can add that back?

Is there a way to control what is displayed in the listing at the lower part of the home page.

I see voice command is in this rom but it's not working on mine, should it be and is it the full ms vc 1.6? I never liked the one that came with the phone that you had to record tags in order to launch programs but am very interested in the full blown ms version with true voice recognition. There seemed to be a conflict with the vz 6900 and VC, is that resolved by updating to the sprint rom and subsequently this overlay?

I ran the verizon.cab after the flash, what did that do, could that be the reason VC is not working?

See this info for your task manager situation.

Important: Before installing task manager, disable scenarios by clicking the little icon in the bottom right of the screen. Uncheck the "show icon" and "activate scenarios" boxes
Task manager has conflicts with scenarios

The Task manager tends to mess with stuff When cooked into the rom so I left it out. Install and soft-reset
Big Button Task Manager: http://download.ppchaven.com/negaman...3556_1_WWE.cab

If you installed task manager and didn't disable scenarios beforehand, go to PHM regedit and change to HKLM\ControlPanel\ETEN\ScenariosOption\Enable=0 ShowIcon=0

HTC home customizer http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/get-...izer-v1-0.html

You can do whatever you want with the home screen

I'll look into the VC. I never really use it personally
