oops...the job took me away.... :)

Here's what's inside the .cab:
Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\Dialing]
"Script"=""
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\Ending]
"Script"=""
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\LoudestInCallVolume]
"Script"=""
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\QuietestInCallVolume]
"Script"=""
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\StandardInCallVolume]
"Script"=""
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\CallWaiting]
"Script"=""

Rename the attatchment and remove the ".zip" to turn it into an installable cab file.

All these great chef's on here, and no one customizes their rom Sounds to really add their touch to it???

If you want to see your chef implement their custom sounds, copy this link for them! :)

Cooking is more than dragging and dropping OEM's into your roms!
I like to give away my rom knowledge, and share the pieces!

No. As far as I know SRS Wow is incompatable with wm6.1. This allows you to customize your ringer, and notification sounds like new message, text message, connect/disconnect from activesync...All the customizations from StartMenu -> Settings -> Sounds

Will do. Thank You.

What do these two do:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\Ending
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\CallWaiting

and which is the one that makes the sound when adjusting the volume when not in a call?

The tone that plays when you hit the "end" button during a call. (also plays the tone through the speaker when not in a call...good pranking stuff)
And the second one controls the sound for call waiting...

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\LoudestInCal lVolume]
volume up...

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\QuietestInCa llVolume]
volume down...

I haven't tried it, but "Script"="v1" , in the callwaiting would be interesting to try. Have your phone vibrate for 1 second instead of that annoying sound... :)

yea, I definitely want to be notified if there is another incoming call...so I haven't run your script yet, because I don't want to lose that functionality.

which registry controls where the ringtone, alert or alarm goes. I have been having a problem with my ringtones since flashing the new sense(2012) . I can only change the default ringtone if I choose to change an alert or alarm in the Sounds and Notification drop down panel. I do not have this problem using Sense2.1 Thanks for any reply

In the example attached to the first post, I have found that all the sounds can just be cooked into the default \windows. Except Ringers... If you notice those are renamed *.mm in the OEM, then renamed/copied to \my documents\*.mp3 in the initflashfiles.txt file. That way they don't show up twice and throughout the years they sometimes work, sometimes don't work out if they are left in \windows.
