IMPORTANT: YOU MUST UNLOCK YOUR VOGUE WITH COKEMAN'S 2.31 UNLOCKER BEFORE FLASHING TO THIS ROM OR ELSE YOU WILL LIKELY BRICK YOUR TOUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys -

I've been cooking my own ROM for quite a while and recently just learned how to port SYS from other ROM. After browsing the XDA Kaiser forum, spotted a new build for WM 6.1 build 19213 which is ATT official AKU 1.0.4 update for Kaiser. So I took the initiative and port over the SYS only to Sprint ROM.

Specs:
- Base WM 6.1 19213.1.0.4
- HTC HOME 2.10.18xxx (new icons, go to Settings - Today - Items and check HTC Home)
- HTC X-Button (new icons)
- TouchFLO (with scroll sound disabled)
- Live Search
- GSFinder (Explorer replacement)
- Java 2008 build.
- NO CUBE (I don't use it and thought it was waste of resources saved 4MB in memory at least)
- OEM drivers by Alltel with GPS built in (updated GPS driver included in cab file)
- Sprint usual stuff like connections and such.

Overall performance is snappier than the 19716 build I have maybe due to some fixes (???). Please flash and let me know your results.

I recommend letting UC runs because it has the updated GPS drivers and GPSViewer seems to lock pretty quickly for me.

Known issue:
- Since Biotouch (CUBE) was removed, if you swipe from bottom up, you'll get an error saying can't launch shortcut, simple click OK. if any1 knows how to remove this behavior from TouchFLo, please let me know.

Solution to issue:
Edit this registry entry to disable cube.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings]
"EnableCube"=dword:0

UC Installation:
- I attached the SDConfig.txt and two cab files that can be run as UC during initial boot up. If you already have your UC setup on your Storage card then just copy the 2 cabs to your location prior to flash ROM.
- If this is your first time setting up UC, copy SDConfig.txt to the root of your storage card (usually \Storage Card is the root folder in WM). Make a directory "cabs" (no quotes) in root of storage card (end result is \Storage Card\cabs). Copy the 2 cabs attached to the new cabs folder on storage card. Now flash the ROM and let UC runs.

vboyz - besides finding the rom download link.... what do you mean when you are speaking of UC? I'm new to all this, and want to try your rom. I like the fact that you left out the cube.

Your help would be appreciated.

UC is User Customizations.
A guy over at XDA developed a small app that runs once after a hard reset.
It checks for a file on your storage cards called "SDConfig.txt" which you setup to install cab files from your storage card, and it can run XML and copy files to your device.

Here's the XDA thread.

Take a look at the sample SDConfig.txt file that Vboyz posted.

Re: Vboyz Sprint Clean ROM with Rev. A, GPS with update driver - UC Compliant

MILHOUSE: UC stands for User Customization, and what it is that it allows user to install cabs from Storage card upon first boot after flashing the ROM. This is extremely useful that you want to run setup for your phone without burning the cab into ROM itself. An example of this would be if you have a software that have updates to it all the times, and burning this software into ROM would requires constant ROM updates if there's an update for this program. So with UC you can run install this program upon initial boot so u don't have to worry install it manually later.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings]
"EnableCube"=dword:0

See if that removes the missing shortcut error for you.

It's just a modded autorun.exe to look on your SD instead of ext rom. Tautoinstall is better - same functionality + more.
